It is specific to that woofer on the front left channel of the amplifier. Just got everything installed and it sounded great for about a week. Maybe ~10 months or so. He has a Technics SA-203 stereo receiver that was properly stored in the basement for 5+ years. So sound on both channels via headphones, the issue may be the main amp, no sound on one channel, the issue is either input or preamp boards. The main culprits are the -20db muting, loudness, hi cut, low cut. Right channel works fine. As soon as you lose sound in the right channel reverse the cables at one end (switch the right and left). What we are attempting to determine is whether the signal is lost in your pre-amp or power amp. Try a separate pre-amp, or just plug your TT into aux or CD and see if you can hear the left channel. k8afi
