Oct 11, 2019 · I replaced a receiver end plate with a QD plate and attempted to torque a new castle nut on at 40 ft lbs using my Tekton torque wrench and Magpul wrench (connected at a 90 degree angle). Because you can't stake the PWS nut and you can't torque it to 40ft-lbs, you're paying more for a setup that provides less insurance than a basic mil-spec nut that's been torqued to spec.
